Drama and Art Combined

Afternoon Art Camp is offered to children 9 to 14 years old. (Limit of 15 students per session)

Dates:  August 14th to 18th – Total Instructional Time – 10 hours

Time: 12:00pm – 2:00pm

Cost per Child:  $40 per class with all art supplies included

Description:

In this five-day camp students will participate in a variety of drama and improvisation activities and games. Each Day the students will be challenged with creating  short scripts, constructing  props and designing costumes that may be used in various drama presentations or performances.

Monday, August 14th – The Many Hats We Wear/Improv

Tuesday, August 15th –  Puppetry in Motion/Character Voices

Wednesday, August 16th – Art of Set-Design and Backgrounds/Peg Doll Puppets

Thursday, August 17th – Photo Booth Creation With Props

Friday, August 18th  –  Product Design and Creating a Commercial

Cancellations: Requests for refund received in writing at least 2 days in advance of an education program start date are eligible for a refund minus a $10 administration fee, or a full credit towards another education program. Late cancellations are non-refundable, credits will determined case by case at the sole discretion of the LAC.
