What is the En Plein Air Patio?
Visit the refreshing uptown Leamington LAC En Plein Air Patio next to the iconic BIG Tomato every weekend in July & August as we activate the space with live local music, featured artisan cocktails, craft beers and local wines. Patio admission is always free, but complete your experience and enjoy complimentary visitor admission with a cocktail purchase – view the LAC and its 4 gallery/exhibition spaces, art supply shop and framing design studio.
Hours & Schedule
Every Saturday & Sunday from July 4th to August 23rd, 2026, except July 25th & 26th (Arts @ the Marina).
- Patio Open: 12-5pm.
- Live Music: 2-5pm.
In the event of inclement weather, the music and bar will be moved inside.
With a purchase of a drink, you can enjoy our current exhibitions with FREE admission!
Tourism Relief Fund – Patio
In 2022, the Leamington Arts Centre (LAC) was provided funding by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). The funding was allocated under the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund and went toward supporting the installation of a patio area, as well as the purchase and installation of all-weather seating and outdoor heating.
The project funding also supported the development and implementation of experiential tourism products. Not only is the patio great for events like our Mill St. Markets, but soon the LAC will also offer new and exciting programs to activate this exciting new outdoor space.
