MINI MURAL

Generously supported by the Uptown Leamington BIA building and facade Uplift Grant.

The goal of the Mini Mural on Mill St. was to transform and beautify the LAC and Uptown Leamington while celebrating Leamington’s vibrant arts and cultural history.

The letters of LAC in the mural display significant aspects of the culture and landscape of Leamington.

Completed September of 2023 by local artist, Sarah M. Robbins, the mini mural is 45″ x 40″ and covers a set of steel dumbwaiter doors on the south side of the LAC building.

The letter “L” boasts the view of the popular uptown Mill St. Market evenst. These events, which have been held multiple times each summer since 2016 attract vendors and visitors from near and far and are a wonderful way for the people of Leamington and the surrounding area to enjoy summer evenings with food, drink, music, and shopping in the uptown core.

The letter “A” displays the view of the boardwalk at Point Pelee National Park; a true staple of Leamington. The park draws in tourism year round for its beautiful scenery and wildlife and its boardwalk allows visitors to the park to explore the plants and animals of the marsh up close.

The letter “C” is made up of a lively scene from Leamington’s waterfront amphitheatre at Seacliff Park. The park and amphitheater have hosted a multitude of concerts, shows, and festivals that both bring in visitors and bring the people of Leamington together to celebrate and enjoy the scenic park and beach.
