Chances Gaming Lounge – Charitable Gaming Community Good

It is my way of volunteers like you that we can continue to do what we do – create, sustain and celebrate the arts. As a not-for profit charitable organization we are reliant on community support to create opportunity and programs for the community. This takes time and also funds.

We have a partnership with Chances Gaming Lounge and their charitable gaming – community good program. This program offers a way for the LAC to gain funds from volunteers working 2.5h assignments at Chances. Volunteers help staff greet patrons at the door, help with bingos and various very light duty tasks. Each volunteer is given an LAC shirt, name tag and provided training. Volunteers can choose if they wish to cover an afternoon or evening shift and how often – once a week, once a month, or on call as need. The more assignments the LAC volunteers can cover the more funds the LAC will earn from Chances.

This is a truly great way to add a new revenue stream to the LAC to help cover programing and other expense, but we need volunteers! It’s also a great way to spend 2.5h out in the community doing a good thing and meeting people! Plus, you are never alone, each assignment volunteers are paired with another volunteer from the LAC so you will always have a friend, or you sign up for this program with a friend, a spouse or family member. 2.5 hours is all we are asking, and it will go a long way to help the LAC.

If this sounds like a something you’d like to help with, you can sign up now below.
