The LAC strives to help enrich our communities understanding and appreciation for the arts and culture while assisting to enhance skills and talents for both youth and adults.
Come join us and explore your artistic side. Develop your skills and have fun in our relaxed lower level studios. Our teachers offer a broad range of adult and children’s classes suited to all levels and areas of interest from acrylic, oil, watercolour and encaustic painting, drawing, printmaking as well as specialized individual one on one classes and holiday and seasonal art camps for children.

Join Alexandria Masse at the LAC for an all-ages abstract paper puppet making workshop. Inspired by her show She who bathes the moon; Chang’e, Masse will teach participants how to create paper puppets with a twist: USING YARN!
The workshop will take place on Saturday May 9th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm for $10 per participant. The class will take place in our Education Studio on the 2nd floor, which can be accessed by elevator through our side door (left of the main entrance!)
