ALL PHOTOGRAPHS MUST BE CROPPED TO 8" x 10".
All photographs submitted online will be printed 8”x10”.

*The LAC/SEAA defines an amateur photographer as anyone who photographs as a hobby and does not earn from their photography on a regular basis or who has not had substantial training/experience in photography that would give them an unfair advantage over other amateur photographers.

Entries will be judged objectively by a professional photographer(s) on the basis of creativity, visual impact, technique and use of the category/theme. Digitally an analogue (film) entries as well as adults and children entries will be judged together.
All photos MUST be submitted electronically using the form below. Printed photos dropped off will NOT be accepted.

As part of your submission fee, your photo(s) will be professionally printed by Speedrpint Ltd. and then matted with a backer board, put in a clear protective sleeve and then displayed at the LAC in January.
All displayed photos will be entered for a chance to win prizes based on the judges and people's choice selections.
*The LAC and Speedprint are not responsible for formatting photo files uploaded. All files will be printed as is. Ensure your photo meet standard print quality, 8x10" at 300 pixels per inch. Photos that are not 8x10" will be automatically cropped once they are placed in the pre-cut 8x10" mats. To avoid this, please crop and size your photos before uploading.
*Incomplete or late submissions will NOT be considered.
$15/submission. The entry fee includes professional printing and matting of each photograph (yours to keep after the exhibit), participation in the contest for a chance to win prizes.
Maximum number of submissions per artist is UNLIMITED.
Please note: submission fees cover expenses to develop, coordinate, and curate the exhibition, handle and store works, in addition to general operating expenses. For this reason, submission fees are non-refundable, for works accepted or not accepted into the exhibition.
Photographs do not have to be for sale. If they are for sale, alll sales will be handled by the LAC. A commission of 35% will be retained on all sales.
Payments will be made within 30 days of exhibition end via e-transfer or EFT only (cheques or cash payments will not be issued)
