Exploring Famous Artists & Styles of Painting: Adult Learning

In this series of classes, students will explore the work of 10 famous artists and will produce works of art based on the influences, styles and techniques of well-known artists.  Students will use a variety of art media. Classes will be on Monday evenings  from 6 to 8 pm.  The cost is $40 per class with all materials provided.

February 26 -Paul Gaugin (1848-1903) French

March 4 – Salvador Dali (1904-1989) Spanish

March 18 -Gustav Klimt (1862-1918)  Austrian

April 8 – Kenojuak Ashevak (1927-2013)  Inuit

April 22 -Georges  Braque (1881-1963)  French

May 13 -Paul Cézanne (!839-1906) French

May 27 -Edvard Munch (1965-1944) Norwegian

To register, please complete payment in advance of the class by purchasing tickets below. Tickets close 3 hours before class begins.

Cancellations: Requests for refund received in writing at least 2 days in advance of an education program start date are eligible for a refund minus a $10 administration fee, or a full credit towards another education program. Late cancellations are non-refundable, credits will determined case by case at the sole discretion of the LAC.
