The World As We See It: LeyDan Art Studio

“The “The World As We See It “art show features artworks from the LeyDan Art Studio students and the LeyDan Artists Group artists. I have been teaching art for more than 20 years. This show exhibits the art and skills of some students I have mentored and instructed for more than 10 years and new students who have just started.

Creating art is a lifelong journey, but with effort and determination, anybody who walks on this path can achieve their set goal. Every student I mentored found an art path they could successfully follow. Some chose photography, 3D modelling for the game industry, digital or matte painting, photo manipulation, or traditional art. My home art studio is a place of boundless creativity, offering classes for children and adults, primarily in the evenings. The timing of your start is inconsequential; what matters is the determination to begin your artistic journey and the passion to succeed. I guide beginners to advanced artists through a rich tapestry of mediums and techniques, from drawing in graphite, charcoal, and pastels to painting in watercolour, acrylic, oil, and encaustic, and even sculpture in clay. We also explore the fascinating worlds of mono-printing and woodcut printing, but I always begin with the fundamental skill of drawing.” Leyla Aysel Munteanu MFA
