Music and Art Adventures

Morning Art Camp is offered to children 4 to 8 years old. (Limit of 15 students per session)

Dates:  August 14th to 18th – Total Instructional Time – 10 hours

Time: 9:00 – 11:00

Cost per Child:  $40 per class  with all art supplies included

Description:

In this five-day camp students will explore the world of music and art combined.  Students will have opportunities to play percussion instruments throughout the week  and learn about some interesting instruments from around the world. Each day they will learn songs led by the guitar.  They will also make their own instruments and express their thoughts about music through art experiences.

Monday, August 14th – Drums Around the World and Drum Making

Tuesday, August 15th – Decorating and Making Rainsticks

Wednesday, August 16th – Singing Along With Guitar and Interpreting Lyrics Through Art

Thursday, August 17th – Painting and Drawing to Classical Music

Friday, August 18th –  Invent,  Make and Play Your Own  Percussion Instrument

Cancellations: Requests for refund received in writing at least 2 days in advance of an education program start date are eligible for a refund minus a $10 administration fee, or a full credit towards another education program. Late cancellations are non-refundable, credits will determined case by case at the sole discretion of the LAC.
