Every Day is Earth Day Art Camp

Afternoon Art Camp is offered to children 9 to 14 years old. (Limit of 15 students per session)

Dates:  July 10th to July 14th – Total Instructional Time – 10 hours

Time: 12:00 – 2:00

Cost per Child:  $40 per class with all art supplies included

Description:

In these sessions, students will grow in their appreciation for the gifts that planet Earth has to offer and how all humans can be guardians of our planet. Art activities will be hands-on and linked to several ecological issues occurring in our world today.

Monday, July 10th –  Design and Paint Reusable Shopping Bags

Tuesday, July 11th – Construct Wind Chimes with Objects from Nature

Wednesday, July 12th – Paint a Birdhouse and Make a Simple Bird Feeder

Thursday July 13th –  Endangered Animal Painting Project

Friday July 14th – Sculpting with Recycled Materials

Cancellations: Requests for refund received in writing at least 10 days in advance of an education program start date are eligible for a refund minus a $5 administration fee, or a full credit towards another education program. Late cancellations are non-refundable, credits will determined case by case at the sole discretion of the LAC.
