CANCELLED

Arts @ the Marina Exhibitors & Members of the Community:

It is with disappointment that due to COVID-19 the Leamington Arts Centre has had to make the challenging decision to cancel the 28th annual Arts @ the Marina.

For nearly three decades the LAC has presented its major fundraiser of the year and over the years the event has featured thousands of artisans and welcomed even more visitors to Leamington’s popular arts event at the scenic municipal marina.

The 2-day event scheduled for June 27 and 28 was well on its way to being a bigger and better show than ever. The LAC was excited to once again present so many talented artists and artisans as well as feature local musicians, delicious foods along with local wineries, breweries and spirit vendors from across Essex-County.

This is the first time in its long history that the event has had to be cancelled. It has faired through inclement weather, troublesome fish flies, tough economic times and a few event changes, however in consideration for public health and safety, the uncertain next few months and all the time and planning that goes into Arts @ the Marina, the LAC will for the first time cancel this community event.

We understand this will also be a disappointment to the community and our exhibitors, but it is the best decision at this time and one that the Arts @ the Marina planning committee did not make easily.
We sincerely thank all our exhibitors who registered to be a part of the show, our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, service and equipment providers and to all the community who planned to, and who come out each year to support this great show.

A list of all the exhibitors who were registered are listed below, and we are encouraging all to have a look and continue to support the artists who truly make this event an amazing and memorable experience.

As always, the LAC features many other unique arts and culture events and opportunities throughout the year, from on-going art exhibits in the gallery, the Market Place consignment shop, the art supply store, wine and paint nights, education programs, indoor artists markets, and much, much more. Please visit the LAC website or connect with us on social media for more fantastic events and ways we can work together and continue to support each other, and we truly hope to see everyone back for 2021 Arts @ the Marina!

Refund cheque for the full registration fee paid by exhibitors will be issued and mailed out soon. Should any exhibitors wish to apply their 2020 fee to 2021 the LAC will hold a credit for next year and honour the rate should the fees change. If any exhibitors would like to do so, please destroy the cheque and email Chad Riley at: director@leamingtonartscentre.com as soon as possible. Alternatively, the LAC as a chartable not-for profit organization reliant on community support can also offer an income tax receipt for the donation of the fees should anyone be in a position to do so.

Thank you to everyone for their support and understanding, we wish you all the best and wellness during these times.
2020 EXHIBITORS

Although Arts @ the Marina 2020 has been cancelled, in an effort to support the many artists, artisans and vendors who have been with us for years and to all our new friends who signed up to be a part of this great tradition in Leamington, below is a list of the exhibitors with contact information that we are able to share. Some do not have websites, but many are available on Facebook, Instagram, Etsy and Twitter, so we encourage everyone to visit their pages and contact them for all inquiries and purchases. Together we can work through this to do what we can to support each other and the arts in our community.
