WELLNESS THROUGH ARTS PROGRAM

Ongoing Through 2021

The Leamington Arts Centre (LAC) / South Essex Arts Association (SEAA) are proud to announce in partnership with the Leamington District Memorial Hospital (LDMH) the Wellness Through Arts Program. The first stage of this program can be viewed at the LDMH commencing Thursday, January 30th in the new Diagnostic Imaging Department on the lower level. As the program expands, it will embrace and transform a variety of additional spaces within the hospital. Interested Artists, please contact the LAC. The Wellness Through Arts Program at the Leamington District Memorial Hospital is dedicated to the well-being of patients, families, caregivers and the community. The program aims to integrate the creative arts and aesthetics into the healing spaces within the hospital by reducing stress and promoting calming environments that replace anxiety with hope and holistic well-being. The program is made possible through the support of local artists, the Leamington District Memorial Hospital, and the Leamington Arts Centre/ South Essex Arts Association. We welcome you to share in the spaces, to enjoy the beauty and serenity it may bring to you and your loved ones.
