About the LAC
The Leamington Arts Centre (LAC) is located in the heart of South Western Ontario’s beautiful uptown Leamington in one of the town’s many wonderful heritage buildings. The LAC is a state of the art gallery which offers three exhibition spaces with over 300 linear feet of continuous wall space and 2000sq/ft of floor space, as well as the Erie Quest Heritage Ship Wreck museum, a gift shop, art classes, workshops and meeting spaces. The LAC is one of the area’s paramount places to view modern art with an emphasis on local and aspiring artists and artisans.
 
The LAC is governed by South Essex Arts Association, a not for profit charitable organization dedicated to creating and sustaining a celebration of the human spirit through the nurturing of the arts within our community.

Values/Vision Statement
The South Essex Arts Association, in partnership with the various art mediums and other disciplines within the arts culture, promotes, fosters and stimulates the appreciation of the arts.
 
Through artistic events and exhibitions with a special focus on the work of local artisans, SEAA assists in preserving all forms of art within the community.
 
Cultural Access Pass (CAP) Service Provider
The Cultural Access Pass (CAP) offers new citizens the opportunity to enjoy the Canadian cultural experience through complimentary access to more than 600 participating attractions, galleries, museums and discovery Canada. The program encourages new citizens to curate their own Canadian experience in their first year of citizenship, opening doors to Canadian culture with the intent of generating a sense of belonging and engagement in their communities, and in Canada as a whole. The LAC is proud to be a CAP service provider who both, grants and accepts CAP memberships to new immigrants.
