Printmaking Workshop

With Marshall Heaton

Local artist Marshall Heaton is excited to bring printmaking to the LAC’s new Printmaking Studio. Through a series of four classes these two workshops will allow artists to explore the art of relief printmaking (from its most basic stamping applications to specific focuses on woodblock and lino printing), and intaglio printmaking (from the etching to engraving process). Artists will hand-pull their own work and utilize an etching press, and learn about the art of multiples, editions, transfers, mono-printing and various post printing additive processes. Presentation of completed works; matting, framing, binding, photographing, exhibiting, and gifting will also be presented based on participant interest.
